I tried a facial with dermaplaning, tested by Stefano De Martino, Miriam Leone, and Chiara Biasi, I’ll tell you how it went

Spoiler: the benefits of this facial cleansing 2.0 are real. A treatment created by a former Russian model who struggled for years with acne, it renews the skin, makes it smooth and even, and removes every trace of impurities from the T-zone.

As a true beauty enthusiast hungry for new, interesting beauty content, I had noticed on Instagram the videos posted on Yanabeauté’s profile. Close-ups of female and male faces refreshed by a deep cleansing treatment entrusted to various methods of advanced skincare. Without delay, I asked the founder of the center, located in the heart of Milan, for an appointment. Goal: to try the signature facial and assess its real effectiveness. I was welcomed by a beautiful young woman, Yana Batalova. A former Russian model, long settled in Italy, she told me that the idea to create this multi-step facial was born from personal needs. “For years I suffered from acne. I still remember the discomfort and anxiety when I had to attend fashion castings and was asked to show my face without makeup. From that experience came the desire to create a facial able to improve and maintain skin quality, deeply cleansing the skin and renewing it in a painless and non-invasive way.” Let me tell you about the treatment I tried.

Facial cleansing 2.0: the steps to achieve radiant skin

Lying on the bed, I received a first phase of facial cleansing with products from Biologique Recherche and iS Clinical suited to my skin type. These are two skincare brands that invest heavily in scientific research, which boded well for the treatment I was about to test. For the first time in my life, I experienced dermaplaning. For those who don’t know, this is an exfoliating treatment that uses a small blade to remove the layer of dead skin cells and fine hair from the face, making the skin smoother and more radiant. Among other benefits, dermaplaning (very popular among women in the Middle East) promotes cell renewal and improves the absorption of skincare products. We then moved on to phase 2 of the facial: deep and personalized cleansing with the Hydrafacial machine. Loved by stars like Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez, this technology uses a patented spiral mechanism, which thanks to its vortex effect removes impurities and, at the same time, delivers highly concentrated antioxidant and moisturizing serums deep into the skin. After this cleansing combined with intense hydration, we moved on to microneedling. Using tiny needles, this technique creates small punctures on the skin’s surface to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This process results in an improvement in skin texture in the following weeks, as well as a reduction of scars, wrinkles, and acne marks. After microneedling, the facial skin urgently needed calming. The facial ended with a 10-minute session under a state-of-the-art red LED light mask, with repairing and anti-inflammatory action. Following this, a sheet mask soaked with further soothing and calming active ingredients was applied to reduce any redness. And voilà, the facial ended beautifully.

The real results of this high-tech facial

I left the center after nearly 2 hours with skin like Heidi’s: rosy cheeks, smooth and even texture with a baby-skin effect, and dazzling radiance (goodbye Milanese dullness!). Looking in the mirror, I noticed some redness on the sides of my nose, where I was told there were some particularly stubborn blackheads. The great thing is that all impurities had completely disappeared from the T-zone! I greatly appreciated the feeling of very soft skin to the touch and felt that the skin tissue had received all the necessary stimuli to “work” at its best in the following weeks. How many sessions does the ideal protocol include? If you live in a highly polluted city like Milan and, like me, have combination-prone skin, this facial cleansing 2.0 would be recommended about every two months. Obviously, provided you are very diligent at home with your daily cleansing and moisturizing routine. The hype around this treatment, which has been tried by Stefano De Martino, Miriam Leone, and Chiara Biasi, is more than justified. Let’s be clear. This is not a low-cost facial: 390 euros for an hour and 45 minutes. But it should be noted that the methods used require solid training of the operator and that the skincare products and advanced skincare technologies are of the highest quality. Frankly, I highly recommend it. At most, you can treat yourself to it once in a while (for example, once a season), considering it a wise investment in your skin’s health.
