The effectiveness of the peeling system was evaluated during a study conducted in the US by innovative Skincare® in collaboration with International Research Services Inc. The results of the study were summarized by Dr. Charlene Dehaven, a member of the American University of Emergency Medicine and clinical director of the innovative Skincare®.
The aim of the study:
Evaluate the effectiveness of the prodigy peel system (2) in rejuvenating the skin and improving its overall appearance. as well as acquiring the opinion of the participants.
Study methodology:
- The study was conducted by cosmetologists with vast experience in chemical peeling.
- A cycle of 3 procedures was performed with a 4 -week interval.
- The participants in the study were evaluated by experts during each visit before and after peeling.
- The evaluation of the effectiveness of the peeling system was carried out according to objective parameters; The compactness and elasticity of the skin have been measured with a cuttometer; The thickness of the skin has been measured with the ultrasound Dermascan
Criteria for an objective evaluation:
- Reduce the visibility of wrinkles
- Hyperpigmentation
- Shade/clarity of the skin
- Consistency / smoothness
- Density
- Radosity / brightness of the skin
- Tactile elasticity
- Skin irregularities / eruptions
- General aspect of the skin
RESULTS:
The study participants were evaluated on a clinical basis for 4 weeks after each peeling procedure. Objective сritero subject to evaluation: reduction of the visibility of surface and profound wrinkles; hyperpigmentation; visibly smooth skin tone; Improvement of compactness, brightness and elasticity of the skin, as well as its overall appearance; absence of imperfections. After the cycle of procedures, 100% of patients showed a clear improvement in almost all aforementioned parameters.
The density and elasticity of the skin were measured using a cutter 4 weeks after peeling. After the third peeling procedure, 83% of the study participants found an absolute increase in the value of the dermal thickness of 4.6%.
